We really enjoyed the Frida Kahlo exhibition currently on at the Victoria & Albert Museum showcasing a collection of her belongings and clothing.

It was amazing to see her iconic dresses and jewellery so close up, we predict lots of embroidery and Mexican inspired florals in the coming seasons!

The exhibition is on until 4th November, so plenty of time to go and see it!

Hope everyone had a lovely, snowy weekend!

Last week we were at the Tate Modern to see the amazing Amedeo Modigliani exhibition. Alongside his sculptures and portraits were his famous nudes and an incredible VR experience. We could have looked at his paintings all day long and it left us longing for the Paris 1910.

Make sure you when you go you try out the VR experience, it's really fascinating. You may have to queue but it's so worth it!

Modigliani is on at the Tate Modern until 2nd April.

The Wellcome Collection is a free museum and library exploring health, life and our place in the world. Can Graphic Design Save Your Life? is a really great exhibition looking at the use of graphic design within healthcare. From advertising, to design within hospitals and packaging design from pharmaceutical companies.
It's a really interesting look at how graphic design influences us everyday and everywhere.

Can Graphic Design Save Your Life? is on until 14th Jan 2018 at the Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Road,London,NW1 2BE.

If you didn't get a chance to see any of the London Design Festival, then you need to get it in your diary for next year!
With events all over London there was so much to see. We headed down to the V&A, Villa Walala and Joy and Peace by Morag Myerscough and Luke Morgan.

The Ceramics Galleries at the V&A were a highlight, with 'Metropolis' by Lubna Chowdhary who is the Ceramics Resident.

Villa Walala was great fun. As you may be able to tell on this blog we are big fans of Camille Walala and always love seeing her designs.

Joy and Peace is a bright and playful installation in 2 parts, it brings a splash of colour to the city.

Hope everyone's Monday is getting off to a good start! We want to bring you a round up of our favourite London stores and this week we're doing a round up of Islington.

To start we have SMUG, a lovely lifestyle shop run by Lizzie Evans. Full to the brim with stylish, inspiring products it is a really beautiful store. Tucked away on Camden Passage there is also a cafe downstairs. Don't forget to check out the rest of Camden Passage, it's a treasure trove of vintage goodies.

We went along to The London Illustration Fair at the Barge House, Oxo Tower Wharf. As usual it was full of amazing illustrators and designers showcasing their talents.
One of our favourites was The Doodle Man, who was live drawing the walls of the building while we were there, with his playful and intricate graffiti style doodles. Kristjana S Williams also caught our eye with her beautifully layered illustrations.

Overall a really inspiring visit, make sure you go and check out their events next year!
