This month’s Trend Club is a little bit of the unexpected and theatrical, Circus Collage!
Updating commercial circus graphics with Harlequin designs and adding collage checkerboard elements nicely moves on this staple, classic trend. Expressive characters created with crayon textures really lift the mood and introducing a contrasting, but iconic colour palette rolls this trend into SS25!
Great fun for any would be Ringmasters and Clowns!
Modernising the Harlequin is beautifully illustrated with the use of crayon in Judit Zengovari and Jana Glatts’ characters. Matias Larrain’s collage highlights how vibrant, contrasting colours can evoke a sense of celebration. Bobo Choses and Naomi Wilkinson show how the trend is so relevant for childrenswear, stationery and home this season.
