Garden designs are a core theme for spring but it’s often difficult to make bugs and insects work for toddler bedding and home products. Too detailed and sketchy skews them to older and scary, while too cute and twee leans towards nursery. With our experience of designing for toddler, we are good at finding the balance and this is a great example of that. The cute proportions and bold colour palette add the playfulness whilst the modern, geometric style works perfectly when scaled up for bedding.
We adore the way the client used the wiggly caterpillar repeat on the reverse side of the duvet. With all our patterns set up as swatches, you can easily adjust any design to your specific repeat size or let us do that for you.
