As the warm weather finally grants us the opportunity to think about long summer days, it’s a perfect time for this trend. Uplifted by pops of primary colour, mixed with soft pastel tones and artistic styles of illustration beautifully freshens the quintessential picnic theme.

With numerous inspirational images for this trend board, it was tough to narrow it down. The key was finding pops of primary colour alongside soft pastel tones and Daria Solak’s shopping basket and Megan Galante’s hand painted fruits best highlight the playful approach. Candice Greys checks, and the Sproet & Sprout images set the scene and Etre Ceciles slogans showcase how to transform the trend onto clothing.
