Senior Print Designer

Maternity Cover

9 - 12 months Maternity cover, with potential to extend.
Full-time hybrid working from our South West London office.

Here at Lemon Ribbon Studio, our design team develop unique, on trend prints and graphics for children's fashion, publishing, stationery, and home industries. Working with great clients from across the world, we are looking for someone to bring their immense passion for design and trend to help us support our clients and grow as a studio.

the role

  • Produce original, emotive and interesting designs for the children's market, both boys and girls
  • Researching, developing and innovating trends to fit the studio's style and our client's needs
  • Presenting and pitching to our clients alongside interpreting and managing any briefs
  • Creating marketing and social media content in line with the studio's marketing strategy
  • Managing junior members of the team by providing creative and constructive feedback, sharing knowledge and best practices.

about you

A culture fit is hugely important but so is experience. Ideally you will have worked within a small team before, but any environment where you have shown resourcefulness and flexibility is great.

  • It’s essential you have a varied, commercial design handwriting for kids and have a minimum of 5 years in the creative industry
  • You will have solid experience in researching and developing seasonal trend boards, alongside a strong colour sense
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of Lemon Ribbon Studios' handwriting style and market definition
  • You are a skilled artworker with exceptional attention to detail and expert ability in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience of project management and strong, effective communication skills with both clients and colleagues 
  • Brilliant time management and organisation skills as well as being a resilient character with the ability to self-motivate.

salary and benefits

  • £34,000 - £36,000 per Annum
